GRATITUDE

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of non-stop work! Building a brand through this medium (Photography & Art) is really a feat. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve always loved aesthetics, decor, ambiance and beauty in general. I just love to create.

My Marilyn said to me just yesterday, that I create “Emotional Landscapes” through my photography, which I thought was brilliant. It’s so easy to become fixated on the outcome, on bringing your dreams and visions to fruition. Researching. Editing. Revamping. Adjusting. It’s a lot. I am a STRONG believer in the practice of daily gratitude & I’ve been sensing a gentle “nudge” inside of me, to be still, enjoy the process and thank God for my gift — regardless of where it takes me.

So, recently, this “nudge” came in the form of a reminder when I received a request from the good people on the board of the NYC Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to donate my work to be auctioned at their 30th Annual Gala on April 30, 2015. These wonderful people work at institutions across New York City and provide impeccable care to patients and caregivers diagnosed with cancer everyday. Needless to say, I jumped at the opportunity and I’m so grateful. I hope they love it!
